03Who is behind the lens

I’m Vivek - a global traveller who turns long detours into pictures.

I left a desk and a deadline to backpack across Europe and Southeast Asia with a single camera. What started as a way to remember places turned into the whole point - finding the culture most travellers walk straight past.

The work lives in black and white because that’s where the story is: the gesture, the structure, the light. I publish the reels and the writing for a community of 20,000+ on YouTube and Instagram who follow the road with me.
